Who We Help

Proceeds from prior years’ events were distributed as follows:
• $5,500 to Camp Ronald—a special two-week camp held each August in the Poconos for kids with cancer. We annually sponsor about 10 children at this camp. Most are suffering with or recovering from cancer.

• $1,000 to the Ronald McDonald House in Greenville, NC. Sean and his family spent many days and nights at this special “house that love built” from 1990 to 1992.

• $1,000 to the Sean P. Cameron Memorial scholarship. Sean was a 16-year-old who tragically died in a car accident in July 2004 and this scholarship fund was established in his memory.

• $250 to continue funding the Brooke Bryfogle Memorial Scholarship, which we started in 1999 in memory of 6-year-old Brooke, who died in a car accident.

We generally keep $2,500 to $3,000 in the fund to dispense to local families in financial hardship due to caring for sick children.
